PIPS FOR SCHOOL (P4S) SCHOLARS
BRIDGING THE EDUCATIONAL EQUITY GAP
The PIPs Education Fund (PEF) developed an innovative action-study program called PIPs for School (P4S) in June 2021.
Students in the P4S program are rewarded for personal responsibility – whether biking, recycling, volunteering, or helping out in their community– with Positive Impact Points (PIPS) that can be banked and converted into grants for school. P4S Scholars have 12 months to earn up to 100,000 PIPs, equivalent to $1,000 in grants that are paid directly to their school accounts. The point system renews annually for participating students, as long as they are enrolled in college, university or trade school.
RIVER FUND is grateful to be a Host Partner of the PIPs for School Program, helping to identify eligible students for this outstanding program.

“Since starting P4S, I have been more conscious of my impact by tracking on the app! It’s an eye opening, fun way to become more aware of my actions and behaviors.”

"I've definitely become more conscious of how the actions I take can be helpful, especially when I go to work and volunteer. The PIPs program encourages me to form positive habits, and they become second nature."
